Monte da Ravasqueira, besides being a family estate, it is also a fast-growing wine producer, now producing wines from three different regions in Portugal. Based in Arraiolos, Alentejo, the 3000 hectares of property give rise to more than five Alentejo brands besides incorporating the production of other wine brands, that are originated in the Lisbon and Tagus regions.

Aroma:
Complex and intense nose with barrel end. Peas,cedar, light iodine, black olives, cocoa and intense mixture of black and red fruit and dried figs.
Aging:
Stage of 24 months in new French Carvalho barrels, followed by stage in bottle for one year.
Tasting Notes:
Spicy, with black pepper, thyme and mineral extension. In the tasting has cut tannins, thin and growing with concentration in the medium of taste, balsamic freshness, meat, plums, blueberries and blueberries, full strength and mineral finish.

The Year of 2014:
During 2014 Alentejo had really unexpected weather. An early spring with more rain than usual made a very quick and qualitative bud burst as well as a very good vegetative development, but with some mildew and oidium pressure.
